Boundless Love

God knew the things we’d do and yet he still loved.

 VERSE FOR TODAY: John 15:13

SCRIPTURE: ‘Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13

Jesus’s death and resurrection are what ultimately caused us to be able to have life and that kind of love is incomprehensible. You think about how before we were eve,n formed in our mother's womb God knew us and loved us and he cared about us even then. He knew we would fail him, deny him, and live our lives contrary to the word of God and yet still his love was so great for us that he sent His son anyways. God knew the things we’d do and yet he still loved.

With us we are so quick to write people off of our list, sometimes if you cross someone you don’t even exist to them anymore. As human beings love is so limited. We only love to a certain extent but God’s love is limitless. It is boundless and goes beyond anything we can imagine. Even though we don’t live a perfect life because we cannot in these mortal bodies, we can know we can depend upon the love of God. We can count on it His love will always be there if we come back to him no matter what.

We may have family and friends that aren’t living for God and have strayed away. Share the love of God with them through your words and your actions. Show them that through God’s love, you can still love them through these situations. Showing forgiveness is one of the best ways we can show love to others. We have to let God love through us. Allow the love that came here to earth, for each of us, even when we were lost to be spread out to others. We are God’s hands and feet and we must spread his love to everyone.

Prayer Thoughts:

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
