Christian recording artist and music evangelist, BJ Pons, has been singing gospel music since she was five years old. She is a dynamic singer and speaker who has the ability to reach audiences with her authentic talent and powerful testimony.
In 1988, BJ joined Jimmy Swaggart and The Family Worship Center where she ministered for over twenty years as a Soloist, Worship Leader, and Background Vocalist and was featured on the weekly TV Program.
In June 2012, BJ sensed God was leading her down a new path of ministry.
She began accepting invitations to share her moving testimony and sing the praises of Jesus Christ. She traveled for a time with the Marty Martinez Ministries extensively and ministered with Nancy Harmon Ministries on occasion, singing to thousands.
Ministry has taken her to various parts of the world including The Netherlands, Canada, and across the United States from California to New York. She also have been featured on various TV & Radio Programs including, The Breakfast Show (Bob Gass), Sonlife Broadcasting Network (Jimmy Swaggart), Channel 40 (PA), Jesus Connection (ATL), and Carl Brown Ministries (LA).
BJ has been honored to share the stage with other well-loved Christian artists such as Janet Pascal, Laverne & Edith Trip, Mary Sloan, Roni Goss, Archie Dennis, and Candi Staton Suswell. BJ was recently invited to minister at the well-known Brooklyn Tabernacle with the world famous Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
Her music and authentic compassion have won over the hearts of people from all walks of life. BJ’s genuineness make people want to stop and listen. She has a special passion to reach women who have been abused and feel dismissed by society. Her music and moving testimony encourage them to understand that God has a plan for even the most unlikely.
