Limitless

Don’t limit Him to your circumstances or your understanding. 

SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 40:28 

VERSE FOR TODAY: “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.” 

Do we take into account how big God truly is? We limit Him to our understanding, we limit Him to what someone has told us or what we’ve experienced but God is so much bigger and beyond anything and everything we could think. You may be going through something in your life right now and you think it’s hopeless, you think it’s done and you might as well give up on it, but God is bigger than your inexperience, bigger than what you know, bigger than the storms that come. He can make something grow even when you can’t do it on your own. You may think something is dead and gone and then God breathes life back into it. He can do this in your life, in your home, in your body. Don’t get discouraged. 

God is an everlasting God, he’s the creator, and his understanding is unsearchable, you can’t try to figure it all out on your own. God’s goodness, God’s grace, God’s mercy is so beyond our understanding and how we are and what we are we cannot fathom it. 

Luke 12:7 “‘Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” If God takes care of the birds, how much more will he take care of you? We were made in his image. He chose us. He loves us and he cares. Don’t limit Him to your circumstances or your understanding. Know that his mercy, grace, love, compassion, and understanding are so far beyond what we can believe. 

Psalm 8:3-4 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, 

The moon and the stars, which You have ordained. What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?” God loves us and cares about us even though he doesn’t have to. He is God yet he not only cares about us but also about the things around us and the things we are dealing with things that are a part of our life. God can hold the whole world in his hand, why would he be limited by our struggles in our lives? God is not limited. Believe that God will handle it and if you can’t, ask Him to increase your faith and to help your unbelief. 

Prayer Thoughts: 

"There's never been a mountain that He couldn't move.

There's never been a valley He wouldn't see you through.

Just claim His promises Yes and Amen,

Stand upon what His Word has said

If you can believe it , my God can do it."
